Save Me Chapter 1

I'm already posting my fanfiction on www.fanfiction.net/tv/skins but i thought i'd post it here as well to get the coverage across :)

Emily always tried to cover up the truth. Fact. She went to clubs most nights of the week, got wasted on anything she could get her hands on, legal or otherwise, fucked totally random guys, got into some serious bitch fights and it got to the point that if someone didn’t do something soon, she was going to end up seriously ill, or worse. You would have thought her twin sister, Katie, would step in and make Emily see the error of her ways and try to guide her through, wouldn’t you? Alas this is not how this story plays out because that would just be too simple, and how many stories out there are simple? The answer… None; there are always twists and turns and shocking revelations that make you want to read on and Emily’s is no different.

It all started a year ago, back in college. I know what you’re thinking, another teenage love story, we’ve all been there, done that and got the fucking t-shirt, but I can assure you of this, the story of Emily and Naomi is by far you’re average teenage love story, oh no, this one has many of the above mentioned twists, turns and revelations. So where was I? Ah yes, the first day at Roundview College for Emily and Katie Fitch and Naomi Campbell, who the twins thought they’d never see again.

Now let me fill you in on a little background of the main characters in this solemn tale.

Katie Fitch, always the centre of attention, even though she was only five foot two tall. She had never not had a boyfriend since she was seven and made all the boys want her with her feminine wiles, short skirts that really didn’t leave anything to the imagination, bright red hair, deep brown eyes and husky voice. Katie didn’t really do very well in school but she figured she wouldn’t need it when she became a world famous WAG with so much money she wouldn’t know what to do with it all. Everyone knew when Katie Fucking Fitch entered a room because people stared at her, some blatantly checking her out while others just gaped in awe at how she had this effect on a whole room without even uttering a word. There was something else about Katie though, something that nobody ever really noticed and that was Emily, her twin sister. To people that knew the twins well, Katie was the dominant one, always in charge, and Emily was just the doormat who did what she was told, went where she was told and did it all when she was told.

Emily Fitch, the quiet, doormat twin. She was always in her sister’s shadow simply because she was born a few minutes after Katie. There wasn’t a class that Emily didn’t excel in because, unlike Katie, Emily had some REAL ambition and intelligence; she was going to get some qualifications and be a teacher. Similarly to Katie, however, she was five foot two, had bright red hair and had deep brown eyes, although some would argue Emily’s were much nicer. She did dress more sensibly though; her skirts were a little longer than Katie’s. No-one noticed when Emily Fitch entered a room and no-one checked her out, usually because they were all to busy staring at Katie, even though they were identical twins. She didn’t have any of her own friends; the only people she hung out with were the people Katie dragged her around with.

So I bet you’re wondering how Emily went from being the quiet doormat to the girl in club, off her tits on every substance known to man? Well I’ll tell you the reason. Naomi Campbell. Not the supermodel you fuckwit, Naomi Campbell, the tall, blonde with piercing blue eyes that could stop you dead in your tracks. Naomi is the strong feminist type who doesn’t let relationships define her; in fact, she hates nothing more than being around lots of people. Some would call her a loner but she really doesn’t care, her emotional defences that she has spent so many years building are impenetrable; no son-of-a-bitch was getting inside her heart. She attended protest rallies with her hippy mother, Gina and was most certainly hell bent on changing the world. Politics would be her chosen subject on Mastermind and she would get into passionate rants aimed at anyone who sits still long enough.

This is how they all started out on that fateful first day of college but it soon changed, some for the better, others for the worse but all three of them changed.
