Mexicans, Policemen & Peacocks OHMY!

So, it's been a while since I've posted my pointless life ramblings on here, simply because I lost interest and no-one really read them I don't think. However I have been instructed my Milly to start blogging again because she's getting well into it now... I think I've created a monster. So I last blogged when I was in the middle of my GCSEs which I'm proud to say I passed with distcintly average grades.
So to give a brief update of new things in my life:
1) Got my lip pierced
2) Got a new cat - he's pretty cool

3) I turned 17 and I'm learning to drive
We therefore pick up my life at this point, I've finished my AS levels and after only 2 more weeks at college, my summer will begin. Ever since I've been at college, I've done some things I've never thought I'd do, including going to Wales on a random road trip with some of my best college friends after watching the Hangover 2 and getting inspired. We went to Barry island, the place where the amazing Gavin and Stacey was filmed; it is pretty awesome to be able to watch the show and exclaim excitedly "WE'VE BEEEN THEREEEE!!!"... Yeah I'm a cool kid.
In our most recent adventure, Milly, Dan, Tom, Chloe and I took part in the first lunch party of our very own Come Dine With Me competition, hosted by yours truly. It was a Mexican theme so I cooked yummy things such as Mexican style Chicken Parmasan and Mexican Wedding Cakes. After this and with Chloe and Milly very much pissed at half 1 in the afternoon, we decided to venture to Tom's house for the night. What we didn't expect when we got there is for Tom's mum to not want us all there for various reasons... So with no roof over our heads, we grabbed a tent, sleeping bags, army rations and alcohol and headed for a random field. We finally decided on a spot between us and set up camp for the night. A rather nice policeman stopped by to see what we were doing there so Chloe, Dan, Milly and I promptly stayed hidden and quiet as mice in the woods whilst we let Tom deal with everything. Once he was gone Tom cooked our food for us which, considering it was about 3 years out of date, tasted quite nice. A few drinks later and we were all having a great time. Milly, Chloe and I stuck as a team and used the infamous "pee cups" round the back of some building, 2 of us shielding the third from passing cars and the such. Whilst we were trying to find somewhere to pee, we noticed the boys had left the campsite, causing our stress levels to rocket! We managed to get back to the campsite without being scared by the boys and luckily before they were able to give us heart attacks, I spotted them behind a bush, foiling their plans! When we finally decided to turn in, Tom, Milly, Chloe and I in the tent and Dan outside under the stars, there were some really really annoying peacocks that just would not shut up the whole night. This teamed with an uncomfortable tent didn't make for the best night's sleep I've ever had and my back is complaining because of it. In the morning we headed back to Tom's for some breakfast and then he drove us home which was really nice of him. Needless to say I am cream crackered and ready for my bed, but I want to stay awake because my brother is coming home from France today and I really really want to see if he's brought me a flag back to add to my collection.
Recently it seems the summer is really starting to begin: Camping with the family +Milly next weekend, Sonisphere with Milly and Charr in July and Amsterdam with Lucy and Becky in August. The only downside is I got a letter today telling me that I've got to give evidence in court on August 5th, oh the joys! Oh, that and AS level results day; that will either go really well or really badly, just got to wait and see now. Anyroad, I'll probably write everyday, mostly because Milly will be on at me if I don't :)
Stay Beautiful! xo
